It’s flying sod!

I came across this photo of Lucas Glover, hitting a shot out of the rough on the ninth fairway during Monday’s final of the U.S. Open, and I laughed, loudly. I just had to share this with everyone, at least why I thought it was so funny.

 I don’t follow golf. I like to play the occasional par 3 course, and I am not that bad at it. I could not care less, though, who actually won this particular tournament. I just liked the trajectory of this clump of grass and mud. It has its own elegance in a way. So, sorry to all the golf fans. I just had to crop Glover right out of the shot and show this divot in its full glory!
